ALL INCLUSIVE DELIVERY & FREIGHT MANAGEMENT
As a "one stop shop" for all of your logistics needs, we can manage or assist with your entire transportation package from origin to destination, including any necessary value-add. STEVEDORING
At our river terminals on the Upper Ohio River, Port of Southeast Ohio operates both hydraulic material handlers and cable cranes to ensure maximum flexibility. We have units that are land based on permanent cells, and we have floating units that are mounted on deck barges.
We have experience unloading all manner of products. We handle bulk materials such as ore, sand, aggregate, and coal. We load and unload pipe, steel coils, and aluminum ingots and slabs. We have even performed many heavy lifts of specialized equipment such as oxidizers, scrubbers, and reactors for plastic plants.
WAREHOUSING
With over 500,000 square feet of warehouse space, we can store bulk materials, packaged products, or equipment. We currently have nearly 100,000 square feet available, and we are constantly adding to our capacity, so we have room for your products today.
Current customers include ferro-alloy companies, oil and gas operators, pollution control product specialists, and soft drink dristributors.
We have both climate controlled and non-climate controlled capabilities, and can separately handle both clean and dusty products.
TRUCKING
Our trucking fleet consists of dumps, dry vans, flatbeds, pneumatic tankers, and liquid tankers. We make on time deliveries of essential products seven days a week.
Through partnerships with other trucklines in the region, there is no upper limit on the volume of material that we can handle.
Our truckdrivers understand that when making deliveries they are the "Face of the Port" and the "Face of the customer" and as such understand the importance of maintaining an effcient, professional, and courteous demeaner at all times.
RAIL SERVICES
We have facilities that are served by shortline railroads which connect with the CSX. At these facilities, we currently perform loading and unloading of a number of materials and types of cars.
For example, we currently unload bottom discharge cars of frac sand. We unload pneumatic cars of pollution control products and cement. We unload liquid cars of DEF grade urea. We load and unload flat cars of pipe, steel, and aluminum.
At times, we have been called upon to perform special moves, such as windmill components.
MATERIAL PROCESSING
At many of our facilities, we peform "value add" services for the products that we transport. Value add services can be as simple as mixing in an additive, to as complex as a complete reworking of the material and packaging.
We currently operate crushers, grinders, mills, screening systems, blenders, and dryers.
We have the ability to package into small bags, FIBCs, and gaylord boxes. We frequently repack and refurbish material we receive that has been damaged in transit.
